We all have habits, some are good and some are bad for us.
We learn them over time and we may or may not be born with them.
They may be viewed as being polite or being a nuisance, depending on who you are.
Some people hate it while others accept it.
Being in the military I have learned the habit of saying sir or ma’am. I think it scares people sometimes.
I am in a military city for the next few days so I believe most people are accustomed to it.
I usually get odd looks when I say it but I really wonder why. Are they hearing something differently? At least I am not asking for a fork in a restaurant…
