When did winter come?

Brr. Ok I knew it would come eventually but now? In my area it was 60 yesterday and I walked outside today in shorts. I was going to have one last hurrah with the trike before I stored it for the winter.

Wishful thinking. I walked outside and it was  only 35 degrees. What the! So I scratched the trike and instead went to the gym to ride. Better than nothing of course!

Conditions are always changing and that helps to make life interesting. However it can be annoying if you can’t do what you went out to do. Change of Plans is a topic that we all encounter at some point.

The best that we can do is to accept the changes and move on. This way we also grow individually and are able to be more spontaneous with our lives and at work.

The more chances we take, the greater our knowledge will be. When our plans are interrupted a new path is born offering us new challenges.

I did over 12 miles today at the gym and it now presents the challenge that I really need to increase my speed this summer.

What challenges have you encountered? How did you overcome them?

        1. I was joking. It’s cold everywhere. I would rather have it warm outside.
