Generations

It’s unfortunate but during times like these you really can tell who is from what generation.

A lot of the younger generation disobeyed the safety regulations. They didn’t seem to care if they got it nor if they passed the virus to someone else.

But at the opposite end, the baby boomer and older over emphasized the need of social distancing. Suddenly they made it clear that we need to be at least 6 feet apart even getting food. However at the same time I am noticing that they don’t feel it is necessary to distance them from their spouse. Can’t they spread the virus from one another and potentially other high risk individuals? Where can we say that they are correct especially if they are out within the community? I am not talking about specific people but generally as a whole.

I am high risk but it often feels like those around me are often more about themselves, it is frustrating to say the least. I have managed to stay healthy (Seasonal Allergies do not count especially if I’m not coughing or has a fever) and I want to make it through this.

What are your thoughts on this?
