The impact

Ever felt a way that you were just different?

Is it possible to help others if you don’t realize it?

Can you really do anything you set your mind to?

Will there be people who try to stop you?

Will there be detours and setbacks?

The answer is yes to all of these and oh so many more.

I often feel like a genius amongst others. I know I work too hard. I didn’t have a clear vision of what I want and I still don’t.

I consider myself a good cyclist but there are factors beyond my control that prohibit me from being one of the best.

It’s frustrating and I’m sure many of you have heard me bitch and complain about it and how it may be unfair. In reality though it is, so many people are biased about disabled people and although we may not be able to do everything we can do a lot.

Like climb rock walls:

Like graduate and excel at school:

Like compete around the world where you feel free:

But even during these times people will still think we not be good enough.

Define good enough!

I am still amazed by the amount of people who call me an inspiration,

Or who tell me I work too hard. Is it possible for you to be bored at work too?

I am no genius intellectually, I was a C student in high school. Well ok A’s in college but so what?

The impact  you make on others now will only carve the path for your future.
