We all have experienced it at some point in our life; a time when everything gradually diminishes
before it sharply heads upstream to reach the top.
and then it usually goes relatively horizontal for sometime.
Sorry for the math reference but I am a math nerd at heart. I excelled at math counts in middle school, took ap calculus in high school, and one of the first couple classes that I wanted to take AFTER my accident was college level calculus. BTW I got the highest grade in that class
But back to the lesson.
When things head downwards we just have to accept what happens and learn all that we can.
When you reach the bottom of that parabola, it may seem like you will never get back up.
While at the bottom learn all that you can. You may never know when it may let you climb out of the bottom.
And when you do, it will be rapidly.
My career starting going downhill after my MANAGER got replaced twice. I have some ideas why I was not promoted but they relate to discrimination and I am working to get them out of my life.
I hit bottom, days passed, months passed, and even a year passed.
I felt like I was never going to get out of that hole.
But I kept pushing forward.
and eventually got a job (although I don’t start until April 9th) and today I received what I consider to be an honor. More on that later but I don’t want to jinx it too much!
Are you doing all that you can do now while you are at the bottom?
Look forward to hearing the full news when you are ready to share – and best of luck starting your new job!
