We try and try our best but it never seems to reach the end.
We often want to give up but should we?
What if all the colors of the rainbow represent different paths to get to the end? And if we switch colors then we experience new paths that may not always work for us so we keep going back to the one path that works best for us.
So if you are on a path to get somewhere but experience hurdle after hurdle then why don’t you switch to a new path?
Of course constantly switching the color may mean that you exponentially increase the time to get to the gold but sometimes that may be your only option.
When we experience a hurdle in life for something that we are doing is it better to switch colors or to make it through that hurdle?
Just a thought of course.
After being injured severely injured I took up paracycling. My pot of Gold is the Paralympics games. I started on one color when the USA classified me as T1. That color was working out fine but I switched to another color when I was classified as T2 internationally. There are a number of hurdles for me on this color and I know my gold is farther out.
What is your gold? Do you keep changing colors?
I love it. This is truth. What I found out in my twenty six years is that we don’t stick with one thing long enough because we are impatient can’t endure the process. It moves to slow for us. 2) we get bored easily. 3) uninterested. We want the glory, fame, fortune, riches not the struggle and preseverance.
