Where, just where do I fit in?

This is a question that we all face at some point in our life.

And likewise it can also change in a heartbeat.

Let’s face it, not everyone knows what the heck you are going through

Or how you may fit in.

Trial and error is often commonplace here until you find something.

Now what if you find that something but are still feeling like you don’t belong?

It is during these times that you need to reach deep within and finish strong.

When it is finished I give you permission to deeply think and ponder about it.

Is this where you truly belong? Can you change what other people think of you? Is there ever a happy divide?

I’m hurting tonight even though I enjoyed what I did tonight. I like volunteering, heck I still help at TLS Veterans weekly. But at the same time I kinda felt like an outlier. Team RWB partnered up with Strong as Oak today and there were only a few of us from Team RWB there.

On my drive home, it really got me thinking. Why do I do this to myself? A majority of the team members are able bodied and can do physical things like running.

It really is stressful and I feel like I am sometimes holding them back when I come to something.

I have to keep it in mind that a majority of them have NEVER had to work with someone like me.

I just want to find my place, is that really too much to ask?

  1. You were there for a reason. Sometimes people can get into a rut. I work in an environment where I don’t meet many people like myself. But miracles have happened. I have introduced random people to health.
Had they been around people like themselves, they never would’ve experienced a new perspective. One woman’s husband has dimentia, and I introduced her to the Genius Foods book. Another woman was having hormonal balances, and I introduced her to Dr. Gundry’s Plant Paradox.

You don’t know how much you inspired someone at this event just by leading by example. You inspire me. Thank you for sharing your experience. I believe all leaders are meant to feel different so that they can construct new doors for people to walk through. Keep going on your path. You are where you are meant to be.
