You can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs

When you try to do something great, you’ll probably make a few people annoyed or angry. Don’t worry about those people; just focus on the good results.

Life is never easy. There are always plenty of twists and turns. There are plenty of mistakes to be made and plenty of rules to be broken.

The important thing here is how it culminates together to make the end process.

An omelet is made and then it is eaten. The next time that you want an omelet you crack more eggs to make a new one. This never stops until you die or for some insane reason chickens and eggs become extinct.

My recovery was not easy. I made plenty of mistakes and most likely broke some rules. However I learned from those mistakes to get to a point in my recovery that I was able to leave structured rehabilitation; I.e. the omelet.

After coming home I had to crack more eggs and made plenty of mistakes to get to a point where I was able to live on my own; i.e. the omelet.

When I wanted to take on paracycling I made plenty of mistakes learning how to ride a trike, plenty of eggs were broken (Cuts, scrapes, etc) until I reached the omelet and could compete with it; i.e. the omelet.

Now I am shooting for the Paralympics. I am breaking many eggs or making mistakes in the process but I hope that one day I’ll be able to reach the omelet.

Interestingly written..I’m still in the process of breaking eggs..n i think it will continue until the end of the life..( I’m vegetarian by the way..never break an egg😜)
