Rainfall helps one to relax, whether for sleep, play, or work. It is often called “Rainy Mood” and sometimes we just need to stop, breathe, relax, and listen.
Maybe we just have a lot going on to do today? Or maybe we are just dealing with a lot of stuff in our lives? Sometimes it is just nice to sit back and enjoy the soothing sounds.
This morning my bed kicked me out at 5:30 am. I hadn’t fallen asleep until at least midnight so I wasn’t too happy.
Since it’s Friday and today was take your brat to work day, I got ready and got me a brat for breakfast.
It probably wasn’t the healthiest of options but hey you only live once and brats for breakfast only happens once a year.
There was also a lot of traffic on the roads this time in the morning. It didn’t help that it started to rain on the way home. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Knowing that I have nothing scheduled to do today it was nice to hear. When I got home, I wanted to take a nap until I heard the rain outside my garage.
Sometimes we just need to take a step back and breathe. The nap can wait a bit. The errand can wait an hour or so. Work can be stalled a few minutes. Get ready for the day and be awesome today!
