Patience grasshopper

Patience is something that we are supposed to learn at a young age.

Although we tend to live in an instant society, nothing is usually instantaneous and patience is often required.

It may take a while but we at least should try to stay positive.

When it does happen it will be like Christmas all over again!

You will be very glad that you have to wait for it.

Patience is something that I have struggled with since the day that I was born;

The day I was born, I came out rather quickly and broke all the blood vessels in my body.

My TBI has only magnified my impatience; I have a really hard time waiting.

So when I was told my dryer wouldn’t be installed until probably next week I was a bit irritated. Christmas was a very good day overall.

However with the added cost to  have it professionally installed I must wait.

Since the housing association decided to raise the fee in January, apparently that is easier than making those who are not making timely payments pay on time but what do I know? They also don’t understand that I can’t afford any more, my housing costs (Mortgage, Electricity, water, and gas) now account for 75% of my income but oh well. It has only gone up 80% in 4 years, I guess it could be worse? It often feels like a real world Grinch!

I guess my car door handle will have to wait, it is a bit amusing needing to roll down the window just to get out!
