Very stressful day!

Oh where do I begin?

Sometimes you really need  to just go with the flow. That’s really all that you can do.

First my flight got delayed. Not once but twice. 45 minutes after we were scheduled to take off we found ourselves BACK in the terminal. We waited until they found a plane. Then it got scheduled at 3 pm. 3 pm came and went and now 330 pm.

Then I get to Austin around 7 pm and have to find my way to the baggage claim We were at gate 31 and baggage was at gate 14 area.

I get my baggage and proceed to the rental place. I found Avis and I got up to the counter and she tries to tell me that I needed to reserve it through this site. WTF! I had someone call and I even got an email.

And so J am waiting and they finally got me a rental with a spinner knob.

I get to the car and it is a monster! 3 rows. Boy am I glad that I bought insurance!

I get inside and there is a spinner knob but there is also a hand brake. Oh WTF! By now I am just annoyed and so it was a crash course on a hand brake.

I start directions to Matt’s house and traffic here is ALOT like Chicago traffic. My 15 minute trip turned into a 45 minute trip. UGH!

But I made it to Matt’s and had a blast. Maybe I need to start a bakery?

Enough excitement for one night!

I missed both lunch and dinner and my pee is bright yellow (ok you didn’t need to know that 😛 ). Time to find some food, rehydrate, and get some rest!
