I played with your heart, got lost in the game
Oh baby, baby
Oops, you think I’m in love…
I forgot this is a blog; not a radio!
Bear with me here.
We all make choices and sometimes those choices affect us negatively.
Our choices define what happens next.
Can we thus control the future to a point?
Over the past few weeks I have traveled to Chicago for events. I’m at a time in my life I need to keep busy and keep my mind off of everything!
I was taking my car but a two hour trip easily turned into 3 hours with the traffic and trying to get to the parking garage when the GPS doesn’t seem to be working in Chicago.
Well yesterday I chose to take the train. When I got to OTC train station I was urged into taking a taxi since it was frigidly cold. I accidentally gave the driver the wrong address but I didn’t realize that until I got out and he took off.
I stepped inside to plan a route; it was only a few blocks according to the GPS. Well I headed the way it said but before I went far I missed the curb and down I went.
I could have called a cab but it was only a few more blocks.
I got to the event and did a lot of hobbling around to walk.
I decided to take a taxi to the train station after.
When I got home I saw this:
Today looked worse:
I think I managed to break my big toe on my left foot. Why couldn’t it be my right foot where I have less feeling?
Are you making your choices wisely?
