Not everything in life can be planned.
Much of it is spontaneous and we really don’t know.
We just need to look at it and sometimes laugh to turn it into a positive situation.
Halloween is a time where we can dress up and be whatever the heck we want to be.
I didn’t put much thought but I threw a few things together and called myself a foxy biker.
Halloween can also be a time when we get scared or frightened.
Something VERY similar to Halloween is driving in Chicago when you live in a relatively peaceful suburban city that is closer to the country.
The drive from Rockford to Chicago is about 90 minutes but with all the traffic and avoidance of many vehicle operation safety rules, it can take much longer and can’t always be safe. Not to mention some of the streets have double names and of course the GPS doesn’t pick up on that.
So I had to be in Chicago at 5:30 yesterday. I left McHenry about 1:15 and didn’t get to where I was supposed to be until 5 pm.
I drove around for an hour trying to find the parking lot. I eventually got to what I thought the lot was but It ended up being the wrong one. It was still a few blocks away but with parking rates so high I decided just to stay there and walk.
By the time I left it was $50 and then I couldn’t my BRIGHT ORANGE car. Haha!
The moral of the story is be safe everyone especially with the snow we got tonight.
