I am Women hear me roar by Helen Reddy was a song that I first learned off when I went to Canoe Country Rendezvous with Girl Scouts in I think 2001. It was canoeing in the Boundary Waters in Canada and was simply awesome!
The lyrics talk about the feminism movement and moving towards equality.
However the lyrics can be applied to each one of us. We might have been through a lot but we continue to fight on.
Or at least I hope you do!
Life can be full of twists and turns and we just have to make the best of it.
Yes it may not be the way that you hoped for but you can learn something from it.
How can you make it better next time? What did you do good? How can that help you in the future?

For me I look at it that I have been through hell with recovery but each accomplishment will only make me stronger for the next time.
