Detour?

See the source image

We have our whole life planned out.

We know where we want to go and how we will get there.

This can go several ways. however detours may exist.

At church today we talked about detours and it really got me thinking. We can head down a path to get to the final end result but what happens if you hit a roadblock?

These roadblocks can make you take a different path.

But with the different path, should you find a way back to the original path?

This new path brings an abundance of new topics to be learned, new ideas to be mastered, and new relationships to be formed.

With all that going on, should you indeed find a new way back to the original path?

Or should you just go on it with the hopes that you learn something new? Do you really know?

What is it that you want? How will this new path help you?

◇ Alice reached a fork in the road and asked The Cheshire Cat in The Tree “Which road should I take 🤔 ?” to which The Cheshire Cat replied “Where do you want to go 🤔 ?”; then Alice said “I don’t know.” and The Cheshire Cat said “Then it doesn’t matter which fork you take.”

    1. Great visual! Very true that we don’t always know where we want to end up.
