We all have heard the phrase “Tomorrow is a new day”.
Is this giving us permission to fail 365 days a year because what we do today doesn’t matter tomorrow?
The sun sets and rises every 24 hours so technically this phrase is true.
But the rest of it can be debatable.
What we do today does matter tomorrow.
It can help us to improve our situation tomorrow whether it is from knowledge or actions.

I agree in part. We must try our best today. However sometimes despite our best efforts things do not work out. Therefore the new day of tomorrow can bring a fresh perspective, a fresh hope. I certainly wouldn’t consider it as giving us permission to fail in the day you are in.
