Some days you just don’t care and that is okay.
take a breather and do everything that is not typical of what you do.
This will allow you to grow stronger even though you may not realize it.
Every morning I get up and make my bed. But this morning I decided the hell with it. I want to be a rebel and so I didn’t:
On to the day!
(No I don’t have a lot of stuff, yes I have lived here for about 4 years)
Be a rebel and change it up! You will be glad that you did!
I know you posted this a couple of days ago, but I was thinking about this today as I left my unmade bed. I always used to make it, but I have read some studies recently that indicate it’s actually healthier to leave it unmade – at least until it cools down! I do think some of those little daily rebellions in breaking our daily routine are important! As an aside – we are polar opposites – my room is kind of bohemian tea parlor.. *stuff*, mosquito netting, cushions, fairy lights.. I am a little awed and mystified by minimalism!

Sorry, I just think we don’t need stuff to be happy. I like to spend money on experiences and if I could, I would seriously consider buying one of those tiny houses.

I think tiny houses are amazing, but have no current desire to live like that myself (currently) – I love my nest! I spent much of my teens and twenties on the move, and then losing everything in my late 30s, I really love the Sanctuary I have created for myself. We’re all different 🙂

Yes we are all different. Not everyone likes that kind of lifestyle. You have to find out what works best for you.
