9/11/2001 was a serious of 4 terrorist attacks on the US. Both towers of the World Trade Center, The Pentagon, and Shanksville Pennsylvania were hit. The attacks did more than 10 billion in damage and resulted in almost 3,000 deaths.
I remember sitting in a science class in High School when it happened. Lessons stopped and we were glued to the tv. We were all in shock.
It also brought out the good in people. This started the War on Terrorism. Millions have been deployed in support of the War on Terrorism and sadly the fight is not over yet.
This is a day to remember. Let’s not forget!
