When pigs fly

I’ll be able to run unassisted again

I won’t be held back by the inability to keep up with others

I will just be able to do

Nothing will hold me back!

This a common idiom of the English language and it has the meaning of an informal joke that you won’t do something.

And in some aspect this will hold true but does it need to be true for everything?

Almost half of the US population is living with a disability whether it is a brain injury, stroke, paralysis, chronic migraines, PTSD, cancer, etc.

So does that mean that the other half of the population is holding up the fort for the rest of us?

Or do we all contribute in some way?

We all have special skills and abilities. Maybe we can crawl and sneak up on someone? Maybe we can eat a massive amount of hotdogs? Maybe we are book smart and can develop solutions to the world’s problems?

Whatever it may be: be you!

You are made the way that you are for specific reasons.

Maybe you will be the next Julius Caesar?

Maybe you will be the next Ross Perot?

Maybe you will be the next Juliette Gordon Low?

Maybe you will be the next Oprah Winfrey?

Who really knows. Yes when pigs fly!
