Hurry up and wait

You have 5 minutes but you have to wait 15 minutes for us.

You need to finish now but we will get to it when we can.

Something may be instant now but you’ll have to wait a while to use it.

Hurry up and wait,

It’s something so prevalent in our lives and even in the military that it is very hard to forget.

But how can hurrying up help us to be an inspiration?

By hurrying up we can finish and prove to others that the impossible can be possible.

Don’t you want to strive that?

Yes hurrying up can be a bad thing but it is up to each of us to know when it is best to use it!

I was born in a way that I could not wait to be born.

I have pushed limits at times because the other was not fast enough.

From day one of basic training it was hurry up and wait. We were rushed through chow because we had to train.

This happened through military police training, it was best to get the enemy before things got out of hand.

This trait has stuck with me to this day. Often it seemed like rehabilitation was hurry up and wait; I was doing a lot more than what was expected.

this hurry up and wait got me to where I am today. Now I have to hurry up and wait with work but I’ll get through it eventually.

How are you hurrying up and waiting?

◇ I AM NOT!!! Military and NEVER!!! have been EveryOne; it’s My Cloudy Understanding of The Military is that The “Hurry up” Exercises ARE Prep for The UnExpected otherwise it’s ALL about PATIENCE!!! in the context of activities like AMBUSH!!! Extraction and Logistics
